I love beads
I love beads Monday, 3 October 2011 Readers here are aware of my passion for beads and bead jewelry. Beads are not only a jewelry item but also a symbol that are used to show love and association. Beads are used on countless occasions and for diverse purposes. Given the emotional value attached with beads, people go a long way to chose bead jewelry. Personally, bead charms remind me so much about life and about the days when I used to have one on my wrist. I still carry mine with lot of love. Jewelry always defines a persona of a person who is wearing it. It also shows the class, taste and sophistication. That is why most people are really choosy what they wear. I try to stay update with the latest and what is new in the world jewelry. Given my own interest in latest beads fashion trends and trying to figure out new ideas online, I came upon Bead Crafty – one of the hottest places that offers beads jewelry. It is among the most sought-after jewelry in the world.

Love Beads
Love Beads Mon, February 7, 2011 at 08:00AM “Soon it got dusk, a grapy dusk, a purple dusk over tangerine groves and long melon fields; the sun the color of pressed grapes, slashed with burgandy red, the fields the color of love and Spanish mysteries.” ~ Jack Kerouac painting love beads in blues and purples 11×14″ canvas, fluid acrylics, neocolors As I was painting this, I was thinking of those psychedelic beads that are hung in place of doors, very retro, 70s-era. My daughter’s preschool class created and hung lines of beads vertically in front of their wide windows onto the garden. The sun streaming through the beads was delightful (that was before my camera-toting days). I used all of my blue and purple neocolors, and some random extras. About a month ago, I splurged on 10 cotton canvases, a big deal for someone who works on paper! I got the Blick Studio Canvas (cotton canvas, pre-primed for acrylic painting). At this size, they’re not expensive.

Must Love Beads
Beads, beads, beads. What are Beads ? Must love beads (big grin). According to the dictionary, beads are small, most of the time round piece of material that is pierced for stringing or threading. Beads may be made of glass, plastic and even wood. I could say that I love beads. I like looking at them and (sometimes) use them. Well, they really are fun to look at but sometimes they don’t really look good on me (big grin). They really make good and fashionable accessories. Actually, if you visit flea markets nowadays, most of the items for sale are jewelries and accessories; and you can see a wide variety of beads designs accessories. I remember when I was still working from my first company, I was selling accessories made of semi-precious stones and beads! I think I spent most of the money I earned from selling to buying my own accessories made of beads (wink, wink)

I’m happy to report that this is the 6th of the canvases I bought.

More Love Beads Tue, February 8, 2011 at 08:00AM “I remind myself that not everything is a sign, that some things simply are what they appear to be and should not be analyzed, deconstructed, or forced to bear the burden of metaphor, symbol, omen, or portent.” ~Diane Schoemperlen 11×14″ canvas, fluid acrylics, neocolors ? ? ? infinite strings of psychedelic love beads stripe sunny picture windows ? ? ? I worked on this for a few hours, just after Love Beads It was like meditation, watching the colors blend, using water and brush to transform the shapes, soften edges, playing, feeling like an artist! The areas that seemed just darling in the late afternoon while I was painting seemed harsh in the morning light… this is one of those pieces of art that looked better wet! Maybe it was toooo wet! I like the dreamy look a lot. Can you see the sunlight behind the beads?
