This location has a limited selection of Tiffany’s jewelry and accessories compared to other locations, such as Pasadena and Beverly Hills. Came in here to purchase the reversible purse in Tiffany’s signature blue as a gift for a friend – after seeing the purse in person vs. online, I was highly disappointed in the quality. However, I purchased it. My friend decided she’d rather exchange the purse for jewelry, as the quality of the purse was clearly garbage. We came back to this location, the security guard recognized me, said hello, and our sales person (manager?) spent quite a bit of time inspecting the purse for “damages”. All in all, the service here was fine, we selected 2 bracelets, and at the end of the transaction, the sales clerk hesitated on giving back the difference in cash. The item was purchased in cash, less then 7 days (their policy is 30 days) therefore, I expect a return in the difference to be in cash – not a store credit. ? I can’t recommend this location, nor will I make it a point to return here. Ps. They now do not polish jewelry purchased here complimentary.
I purchased ?a pair of earrings for my best friend who recently graduated from law school in Chicago. The staff was nice and my sales person was from Chicago and was very personable.
I’n not a big bling kinda person. In fact, I’m totally a frugal, thrifty shopper 99% of the time.My sister wanted to get her best friend something really special for her 30th Birthday. She asked me to go to Tiffany’s with her and help her pick something out. I totally expected a “Pretty Woman” scene, where the people working there would look down their noses at us while we looked around the store, or scoff when we ask the price…But…I was pleasantly surprised by the service. They were in fact, very helpful, friendly and seemed to not think less of us just because of our price point. All-in-all it was a not-too-shabby experience shopping there. I’m only giving it 4 stars out of 5 because I still can’t wrap my head around ?all their prices. But I’ll admit that everything there was real purdy!
I got my first Tiffany as Mother’s Day from my husband (since it’s my 1st Mother’s Day). The chain on the necklace was too short, and it was sterling silver. So we decided to replace it with a 20in chain in white gold. We paid $400 additional for replacement, which I was expecting it was labor and shipping included since the 20in white gold chain was listed for $250 on their website. Then Lauren from Tiffany called my husband @ work told asked him to authorize an additional $25 because it ended up cost more. In my mind, $250 for chain, $150 for labor and $25 for shipping made since for it to be added up to $425. Then when our credit card bill came, there was the $658 charged for the orginal necklace, and $1124 charged for something was suppose to be $400 something. So it took them three weeks and phone calls after phone calls to refund the $658 original price for necklace. We waited total for four and a half weeks to receive the necklace when we were told approx. wait time was two weeks. And guess what, I’ve finally received the necklace yesterday and they charged $25 and $150 for labor. Lol..I got speechless and called Tiffany talked to Lauren, she said the original $425 was for chain only, because it’s a “special” chain, that’s thicker and in a different style. She also said they had to use yellow gold to make it into white gold because they didn’t make it in that style. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Here’s metal 101, When jewellers speak of white gold Stainless Steel Pendants, they mean white gold alloys Sterling Silver Pendants, so it is YELLOW!!!! ALL WHITE GOLD appear to be ?YELLOW!!!! It goes through a process Rhodium Plating to make them look white!!!!! That’s why people scream when they see their white gold wears off and turns yellow. It has to be re-plated every once in a while if you wear it often. $600 pendent and replaced it with a $600 chain…funny as it gets. Now I don’t even wanna see the necklace, so it’s sitting on the bottom of drawer. My first mother’s day turned out to be a complete fiasco thanks to Tiffany & Co!I’ve always trusted Tiffany on Wedding gifts and May alone I spent $700 just in Wedding gift to two different couples. That makes $2000 after this purchase. Unfortunately, after all of this crap with the necklace…Tiffany will never see us again!
tiffany’s shot gun store. small & to the point. the pasadena store closes early. called the glendale store and they saved my a** as they had later hours. the sales girl was also able to confirm that the item i wanted was in stock. while at the store, the same sales girl showed me exactly what i was asking for over the phone & gift wrapped it tiffany’s style. ended up ordering an item that wasn’t available and it was delivered within 24 hrs. if you’ve never had something from tiffany’s delivered, do it. it feels like christmas with snow in southern california w/ hot chocolate and mini marshmallows on top.
I recently went to this location to buy a gift for my best friend. I walked in, was greeted by the person at the door. I started looking for charms, I walked around the store, looking. I noticed six sales associates there, one was with a customer and the rest were just cleaning the displays. No one approached me or even looked at me, it was like I was invisible. So I just left. I guess they care more about the displays then their customers.
This particular location is nestled in the gorgeous Americana shopping center in Glendale, CA. ?The setup at this Tiffany’s differs from older shops since their items are out on display. ?Of particular note is their charm bar, wherein you can pick and choose charms to create a one of a kind piece. My review of this store is largely based on the exceptional service I received from a jewelry stylist named Keith. ?Since I’ve had a number of previous negative shopping experiences, I take note of each time a sales associate greets me and asks if I require any assistance before I have to go and find someone to help me. ?Keith not only promptly greeted me with a smile upon my entrance, but he also suggested items that fit the description of what I was looking for (something classic, something pretty, something personal, and all reasonably priced please). He recommended several options, and ultimately helped me decide on a Tiffany Notes pendant bearing the initial of the gift’s intended recipient. What made Keith stand out among their staff was his extensive knowledge of the product Sterling Silver Rings, which he was eager to share with me as I asked a number of questions regarding pieces of interest. ?Truthfully, my experience shopping at Tiffany’s was largely influenced by the fantastic customer service I received. ?Because Keith took the time to be personable and help me find something specifically tailored for the person I had in mind, I would return to this particular location of Tiffany’s for any future purchases in the hopes that Keith (or someone equally knowledgeable about the product) could assist me in making a thoughtful gift purchase.
I LOVE Tiffany & Co. I love that they pride themselves on customer service. So you can imagine my shock when my boyfriend and I were completely snubbed at this location. There were about three customers in the store and around six employee’s. First the greeter at the door said nothing to us. Then we browsed around. We were planning on looking at rings but no one offered any help, no one asked how we were. They just glared at us. I was in complete shock. As we walked out the “greeter” continued to just stare us down even after my boyfriend politely told her to have a nice day.I went home and immediately wrote to Tiffany about my experience. I received several apology letters and although I forgive you Tiffany, I will never set foot in this location again.
You know what, it’s good to finally see a not-so-pretentious Tiffany open up. It’s cool to be able to actually try on a ring or bracelet without feeling any pressure. The best thing though, is that you get to see not what your jewelry looks like pristine and new, but what it will look like after a few months’ wear. The salespeople are way more approachable too, and there aren’t big beefy linebackers eying your every move. I was just disappointed that the “concept” store was more for the trying than the designs…I thought I heard somewhere that they would have edgier/more affordable pieces.
Terrible customer service!!! Sales person sold me jewelry that has damages! I complained and received apology letter but they sound like I knew it was damaged before I purchased it. Horrible! I will never go back there again and will not recommend to anyone!!!!!
