An Idea Turned to Reality –
In the early eighties, we noticed that couples looking for different styles of engagement and wedding rings had to visit many jewelry stores to find the perfect ring. Jewelry stores carried a limited inventory of bridal rings. However, we felt that there was a need to specialize in the bridal market. So, the Bridal Rings Company was conceived and our idea became a reality.
Our Customers need more than variety to make a good decision, so we also provide:
* A great location in the Los Angeles Diamond District with convenient parking
* GIA graduate gemologists helping customers make an educated decision
* Custom work on site, fast turnaround and guarantees
* Service for life at no charge on all jewelry purchased
* Exclusive provider of major brand designer jewelry
* Lowest prices – 20 to 35% lower than the chain stores
Our Goal is for every customer to have a very enjoyable experience and to make us their personal jeweler.

Ok so what can I say…both of my BFFs got their rings here…I’ve known of them for the past 10 years when one of my BFF’s got engaged first…I’ve been there several times with my BFF and most recently with my brother when he got his ring for his girl…and we’ve always seen Cathy…She is AMAZING!!! Everyone is very nice there..don’t get me wrong but Cathy is the one to see!! So helpful and patient and understanding…I can imagine what kind of customers she deals with on a daily basis…indecisive, lots of questions and she handles all of them with a graceful finesse that’s evident by her many years of experience in the industry….This time around…we had the pleasure of seeing her for ourselves! The BF unit and I made an appointment with Cathy a week in advance…she had an idea of some things I might like…and got some diamonds ready for our appt….Pretty exciting and nerve wracking for me…as it was the first time I was there for yours truly…and what a blasty blast I had! Tried on all sorts of settings and got to try them on with various sizes of loose diamonds…and the icing on the cake was having my man there and putting his 2-cents into it…after all this is a team effort right? and as luck would have it, he’d been studying up on his 4-C’s and whatnot and I felt like a princess..I was extremely nervous…as I didn’t want to feel like I was going overboard or have super high expectations but the BF far exceeded them by picking things that were AWESOME..and more than what I had been imagining in my little head…Our time there was very informative and helpful, we got to see what our choices were and price points and I’m pretty sure the BF had a more definite idea of what he was looking for…I am so excited!! Not ?when this will happen but I’ll keep you posted!BTW…Parking on Saturdays is $6 across the street in Pershing Square and also $6 under the building of Bridal Rings also…I highly recommend calling in advance and just making an appointment (WITH CATHY!!) so that they are able to set aside some time with you…it gets pretty crazy hectic in there and you can feel ignored if u were to just stop by…
I bought my and my husbands wedding bands here in 2007. I have had my rings serviced here and ONLY here. I think the service is excellent. I like that they do it while you wait. I have also had 2 rings rhodium plated here in the last 5 years. During 2 separate services I had to have stones reset in my wedding band (my band has seven small diamonds on it). The first of the stones broke so I had to purchase a replacement diamond. Another stone fell out so I had to have it reset. ?They repaired and cleaned my ring on the spot in about 40 mins.I have enjoyed most of my interactions with this store and would shop here again. I have recommended this store to everyone I know.
An update on Bridal Rings. My fiancee (now wife) and I went back to get our wedding bands and again had a great experience. ?Cathy is just a wonderful person to work with. She knows her stuff, educates you, and always watches out for you. ?I really appreciate her professionalism and really makes you feel like she cares and does everything she can to make you walk out feeling good about your purchase. ?I have since sent several friends there who had a similar experience w/ Cathy. ?She’s really the best. ?If you are thinking about popping the question, you should give Cathy a call. ?You won’t be disappointed.
My fiance and I bought my engagement ring here, and had a wonderful experience. Everyone we spoke to at BRC was very helpful, friendly, and 100% professional. I was expecting ring-shopping to be something akin to buying a used car (shady salesmen, uncertainty, lots of stress), but BRC made us feel very comfortable, gave us all the facts we needed, and didn’t pressure us at all. I was able to get exactly the ring I wanted. Most importantly, I had the ring appraised yesterday, and we got a great deal! I can’t say enough good things about BRC. If you’re looking for an engagement or wedding ring, this is definitely the place to go!
Got my wedding band here, had the most wonderful experience, best customer service, cathy is the best very honest and sincere, would totally recommend it to anyone who’s interested in purchasing engagement or wedding ring. Cathy would go out of her way to help customers, would totally come back here again for future purchases.
We traveled to LA several times to find the right ring and Jay and Zevan were the best. ?We found a setting we liked and they made a few changes and made one that was perfect for me and the stone we chose. ?Picking the stone took longer…..I was very specific about what I wanted and they looked and looked until they found it. ?I love the product, very well made. ?I ?did go to several other places and everyone was pushy or shady. ?Bridal Rings Co was neither. ?On our first trip I walked by the building and didn’t want to take the time to go up to the see these guys…..do yourself a favor and go here first.
Just a quick update – first off, she said ‘yes’ – soooo that’s a good thing.Secondly, we went back to see Cathy for our wedding bands and again was overwhelmed with her amazing service and genuine interest for her customers. She painstakingly helped us pick out two perfect bands and then helped us set up a payment arrangement that fit our budget. Also – side note, just to show her attention to detail. While checking out my fiancee’s engagement ring (that we bought here), Cathy noticed it needed cleaned and that a stone look a bit loose – it was fixed and cleaned in 5 minutes and back on her finger. Great place -i’ve sent all of my friends here.
We strolled in and out through various jewelry stores in the jewelry district before we were directed to go up to Bridal rings. My husband was torn between two rings and finally settled on one. The lady working there was very patient with us. We paid a deposit and left. Couple days later I looked them up on yelp and saw a deal on yelp for 10% off. I called the BR and asked if they could apply that deal to my purchase. At first the manager refused. He then called me back 5 minutes later and told me that actually yes he would apply the discount. Cool beans. I went back and picked up the ring a few days later and they threw in some ring cleaning solution in my bag. They have a pretty good selection of rings and bands.
Great service, great selection, amazing deals for high quality diamonds! ?You can’t get quality diamonds without going to a diamond importer. ?The rings in the retail stores just don’t compare.
The Bridal Rings Company helped me accomplish an otherwise ?impossible task – to sucker my favorite person into putting up with my shit for the rest of her life. =)I stumbled upon the Bridal Rings Company after countless trips to numerous diamond/jewelry retailers and wholesalers in the area. The salespeople were very courteous and professional. Upon entering, Jay (the owner, I’m assuming) offered us coffee and made us feel at ease, which was helpful since picking out an engagement ring is no easy task. Ned, the salesman with whom I had an appointment, was pleasant and very easy going. I had done my homework on the 4C’s (which all potential grooms need to do), so I was satisfied by Ned’s honest explanation of the various criteria used to determine a diamond’s quality. Unlike the “hard sell” that I was expecting, he was very patient in showing me nearly every stone and band in their inventory that met my criteria. In the end, I left with a great ring at a fair price, and it was a much more positive experience than I could have hoped for. My fiancee and I will definitely be coming back here to look at wedding bands. Great job, BRC!
Hubby and I came here to look at engagement rings and they were so great. ?I ended up picking out the setting I really loved almost immediately. ?I knew exactly what I wanted and I was really excited when they had it there. ?This was the only stop we made our day in the jewelry district because I found it immediately and didn’t want to look further. I love my ring so much and get so many compliments on it. ?I don’t think I would trade it for anything else
My husband only got the setting there since a family friend of mine works with diamonds and got him the center stone. ?They were really great about sizing it right away and since I have a really small finger (3 3/4), they made sure everything worked out well.I wear my ring with pride!
My fiancee and I went to BRC a few weeks ago (7/23/11 to be exact) to trade in an engagement ring (from his prior engagement many years ago) for an engagement ring for me. ?That 7/23/11 visit was not the best experience. ?The salesman that helped us was a nice man, however, the entire experience felt like we went into your standard jewelry store and that was it. ?I learned nothing. ?We walked out with my new ring on my finger and that was that. ?On our way home, I had hesitations about the diamond….it looked cloudy and yellow. ?My fiancee was completely supportive of going back and getting a diamond that I loved. ?He also mentioned to me that he’d prefer we work with another salesperson on our 2nd visit. We returned to BRC yesterday 8/13/11. ?Cathy was our saleswoman and it was the BEST experience. ?She is the one to see. ?She’s a certified Gemologist (GIA) and she has the best energy. ?She’s warm and kind, friendly, understanding and takes her time with you. ?She makes you feel important. ?She’s an amazing teacher too! ?I had such a joyful education on diamonds from her. ?I got such a BEAUTIFUL, new diamond in my engagement ring (thanks to my fiancee) and could not be happier. ?Both my fiancee and I were SO PLEASED with our experience with Cathy. ?Not only did we leave with my gorgeous new diamond and perfectly sized ring, we received the Cert. of Appraisal and all of the documents on the diamond right then and there. ?Cathy was so thorough and helpful. Cathy is the woman to see and work with!!! ?You will not be disappointed!!! ?I will refer anyone and everyone I know to Cathy – she truly is the BEST!! ?I can’t stop staring at my ring – it’s SO gorgeous!!
I know I had mentioned before that I would only want an e-ring from IOTR but boy was I wrong. ?My now fiance and I went here and I am madly in love with my e-ring. ?It’s everything I imagined it to be. ?George is your go-to-guy if you want perfection. ?The e-ring was created entirely to my liking. ?George sent me pictures of the actual ring and I didn’t like it. ?George didn’t even hesitate to say that they would fix it immediately. ?Two weeks later, I have perfection. I have received so many compliments on my e-ring and lots of, “Wow, your fiance did a great job!”. ?Ha! If they only knew I picked it, but I’ll let the fiance take the credit. ?That’s what good fiance’s do.BRC’s service is top-notch. ?I went a few days later to get my ring re-sized and George greeted my fiance and I by our first names. ?I called the day after because I noticed something funny on my diamond (me being paranoid), once again, no hesitation, George told me to bring it in. ?I could not feel more comfortable.I wish I could give this place more stars. ?George is really great at what he does.
My fiance, after searching many places, purchased my engagement ring from here. ?He was impressed with their service, professionalism, and no-nonsense approach. ?When he brought me in to have my ring serviced, I felt the same way about this company. ?While we were there, we browsed the wedding rings while my ring was being cleaned. ?I’m fairly certain we will be making another purchase there in about 9 months.
First of all, Bridal Rings Company has a huge selection! ?We went to a lot of places before, and after, going there and only found a small handful of rings that we liked. ?At Bridal Rings Company we couldn’t stop finding ones we liked.More importantly, Cathy at Bridal Rings Company is amazing!!! ?We had a pretty low budget and she did everything she could to help us stay in that budget including certifying an uncertified diamond for us. ?Most importantly, I am very indecisive. ?Despite looking at 40+ rings and taking forever, at no point was she impatient with us or tried to rush us.Also, she was very honest with us and when we went back for the wedding bands and we asked her about white tungsten versus white gold for men’s bands, she gave her honest opinion that she preferred the white tungsten (despite that not being in her best interest as it is a fraction of the cost of white gold).Lastly, I never thought I’d have to email a jewelry shop, but we had a lot of questions since it is a big investment. ?Every time I emailed her with a question, she responded within a couple of hours if not sooner, if it was during business hours. ?I couldn’t have been happier with my experience with Cathy at Bridal Rings Company.
Browse their selection on their website first and then write down the item number and tell them you like it. ?The salespeople were very friendly and professional especially compared to their competition. ?I got an OUTSTANDING ring from them for a great deal. ?For the ring portion of your purchase, they cannot be beat.I did not care much for their diamond selection, and I didn’t like the way that they would bring out two diamonds (an okay one and a cheaper one) and then when I asked to see a different one, they would bring out a scud. ?But, thus is the way of the diamond business and they were nice throughout the attempted sale. One more thing, HAGGLE, HAGGLE, HAGGLE. ?I brought in the ring with the diamond to get it set and they told me it would be $150, and I told them that Jay said it would be $50 (he had) and they were like “He did?? Are you sure?….Okay…” and they seemed happier that I pushed back. ?Lots of people are like that in LA, they like it when you haggle, so go for it.Bottom line, get the ring here for the best price, then seek the diamond on-line…
We stumbled upon this place in the International Jewelry Center in L.A.’s Jewelry District after being disappointed at the rather shady competitors. We did not trust any of the stores down there, but when we saw the large IJC building we decided to give it a try. The store fronts in the building just LOOK friendlier and more trustworthy, so we explored the floors and decided to pop into Birdal Rings Company because there were so many people in it. At first nobody wanted to help us out, I guess everyone was busy but at the same time we are youngish kids getting married (25 and 27) and most of the customers were in their 30’s. So I figure, great, we are gonna get ignored because we are young and not flashy. Nina was available and started talking to my husband, who was looking at titanium rings. Meanwhile, on the other side of the floor I was looking at diamonds upon diamonds which is NOT something I wanted. I was interested in something simple and made of recycled silver or white gold, or at least a verified conflict free diamond. Then one eternity band caught my eye- it had rubies and small diamonds and was just my personality: cute, not too flashy, and delicate. I fell in love with it and called my husband over who called Nina over. She showed me the ring, I tried it on and it was perfect. I asked her about the origin on the diamonds and she pulled a salesman over who explained to me that there was no such thing as blood diamonds anymore, that no one touches DeBeers stuff, and everything is mined in Israel, Lebanon, etc. I surely hope that’s true because after trying on a few other more pricey and flashy rings I decided on the original ruby and diamond ring. While I was admiring my ring, Nina and my husband talked men’s bands. I told my husband that I didn’t like the width of titanium rings and Nina explained that they couldn’t come smaller than the one he liked, so Nina showed him a white gold ring. It looked almost like the titanium but was not as wide. It was also more expensive but we were able to negotiate the price of both our rings to something we were comfortable with. We paid cash which is a good way to bring the price down in the Jewelry District. Nina was great because she understood that we are younger and that we don’t have thousands to drop on our rings. She was friendly, didn’t judge, and didn’t push us. She also gave us a great price after talking with her manager. We came in under budget and got great rings with a lifetime replacement guarantee if one of the stones on mine should come off and lifetime service and cleaning guarantee on both of our rings. I saw a lot of rings that day at other stores and they all started to look the same, but the ring I found at Bridal Rings Company was unique and perfect for me. I really appreciate Nina for understanding our budget and needs and having patience with us. We are still waiting for the papers for our rings (certification, warranty) which they send in the mail, so that is a little worrying, but we are very happy with the service and quality they provided.
Bridal Rings was recommended by a close friend when my fiance and I were embarking on the fabulous, yet baffling, quest for the perfect engagement ring. We had back- to- back appointments for an entire day in the diamond district, and Bridal Rings was our first stop. We worked with Jay, who was amazing–patient, knowledgeable, and well prepared with specific stone options/parameters that we had requested via email in setting the appointment up. We ended up spending the entire afternoon there–and cancelling ALL of our other appointments. We selected a gorgeous ring, and an incredible diamond, exactly what we were looking for. We got ?such an amazing deal–I still can’t believe I have a ring like this on my finger. We didn’t know exactly what to expect–I’d been nervous about such a major purchase, combined with emotional aspect of the process, and was worried that we’d feel like we were at a car dealership–but the entire staff at Bridal Rings made us feel so comfortable, there was no heavy-handed sales push, and the fact that they offer a 100% trade in, in perpetuity, on any purchase, made us really feel confident that we were doing business with honest people. We’re customers for life–and wish that all businesses were run this way.
When we got engaged, we went to Bridalrings Company after looking around for a while. ?We are pretty savvy buyers and know our price points and quality. The reviews for the company were so great, we had to take the trip downtown LA. ? Boy, was the trip worth it! ?The good reviews don’t lie. ?George, the salesperson who helped us, is wonderful! ?I can’t say enough good things about him. ?He is more of an educator and consumer’s advocate than a typical salesman. ?What a gentleman. ?There was never any pressure for us to buy; George always wanted to ensure our happiness. ?He was always available to answer my many questions. We ended up falling in love with a pricey designer ring. ?Bridalrings designed and created a ring that was prettier at a fraction of the price. ?The designer ring looks shabby in comparison. ?George e-mailed us the CAD design and we were able to make adjustments. ?We were so pleased with the quality, the price, and the top-notch service. ? We got so much bang for the buck. We just got married and now I am getting compliments on my ring every where I go. ?If you don’t like that kind of attention, like high pressure sales tactics, or prefer spending a lot of money on lackluster rings, then go elsewhere.I highly recommend Bridalrings Company. ?Ask for George (although everyone else is nice, but George is super-awesome). ?You will get everything you want and more.
Mission: ?So you’ve found the love of your life who makes your heart flutter every time she smiles and twinkles her eyes. ?She makes you giggle in absolute joy knowing that you’ve caught the best gal in town and you’ve decided that you want to spend the rest of your life with her. ? So you mentally break down the sequential order of events that need to occur in order to proceed to complete nirvana…You need to get married! ?Ok….But first, you need to get engaged! ?Alright, fair enough…But you need to get a ring to propose with! *Car screeching brake……!”What now? *head to palm confusion*If there’s a store that will be at the forefront of saving the traditional “Brick and Mortar” store, Bridal Rings is it.Forget Zales. Forget Kays. Forget any of those big box stores. ?They’ve only got old-lady QVC designs and good luck trying to find a well cut diamond with GIA certs there. ?They’ll charge you exorbitant amounts to finance their Christmas commercials rather than finance the quality of their jewelry. It was the day after New Years and my fiance and I decided to browse around the Jewelry district to look at designs. ?Apparently, we didn’t get the memo because many of the jewelers in the Jewelry District were closed. ?Bridal Rings was open however, so we went there first and met with George. ?Almost immediately, the customer service shone through. ?George offered us water and coffee, and George knew exactly what my fiance was looking for even though she quite didn’t. ?She kept pointing at designs that she was interested in. ?She was looking for something classy and elegant, not too blingy. ?George: “Ahh, you like the dainty settings.” Wow- exactly. Then George pulled something out for us. ?A design she really loved.George gave me some initial pricing and information on both diamonds and the setting, but encouraged us to shop around. ? Wow- prices not bad, no pushy attitude, and actually encouraged us to look at other stores. ?Mental note to self: ?Come back here because they stand behind their products. We proceeded to check out other stores in the District. ?And then I proceeded to check out some of the other top-yelped stores by myself as well. ?In general, there were some good contenders out there, but when it came down to it, I felt Bridal Rings gave the best package, products and service: -Extremely reasonable and negotiable prices and great selection-Excellent Service- Free cleanings and rhodium dipping, complimentary cleaner and appraisal-Lifetime diamond warranty and upgrade policy (full value rather than partial of diamond purchase price)At face value you will see great prices online. ?Use that as a reference. ?Educate yourself and do your research on what you want, but when all is said and done, you won’t be able to use a loupe to examine your diamonds and jewelry when shopping online. ?You won’t be able to see the diamonds in a tray side-by-side, look in a microscope, walk around the room and see the nuances of ?brilliance, fire and scintillation in different lighting. ?And you won’t be able to go back anytime if you have any issues, concerns, or upgrades with your purchase. ?George worked really hard at getting rocks that fit my parameters. ?All these advantages carry ?value, so in my opinion Bridal Rings ultimately wins.We are definitely coming back here for our wedding bands. ?We’ve already stopped by to say hi to George and he already knew what kind of bands would look great ?matched to my fiance’s engagement ring.
Well, it worked… she said yes! So I suppose that should make this an automatic five stars, but I’m giving it four stars basically because I had such a high opinion of Icing on the Ring.I had done a lot of research for place to buy engagement rings and after searching around and checking a number of places out I was left with Icing on the Ring and Bridal Rings Company. They seemed to have the best reputations, and they both have earned them. They’re both very friendly, knowledgable, and reasonably priced.I had basically decided on a ring from Icing on the Ring when I decided to wander over to Bridal Rings company. They had a nice selection of rings and amongst the rings, I found one that was the exact same style I was going to get at Icing on the Ring. After talking with the salesperson for awhile, I found that I could get the basically exact ring that I was going to get at Icing on the Ring for a few hundred dollars less. That made it an easy decision for me.The reason why I give it four stars rather than five is because the salespeople were just a little more pushy than Icing on the Ring. Still friendly, but you know, just a little more pressure to make the purchase. I would’ve loved to buy the ring at Icing on the Ring, but just based on the price difference I couldn’t justify it. So I decided to get the engagement ring here, and we returned to Icing on the Ring months later to get our wedding bands.
Bridal Rings is an amazing company with superior customer service. My husband and I had a diamond eternity wedding band made and it compliments my 3-stone engagement ring beautifully. Typically, the first person to greet you is a woman named Nina. She’ll welcome you with her big smile and her warm and friendly disposition. She’ll ask what you need and make recommendations based on your requirements, budget, etc. What I appreciated the most about Nina is that she wasn’t pushy or “salesman-like.” She told us to think about it, do our research, and get back to her when we’re ready. When we were prepared to make our purchase, she us with the price-frame we were looking for. Every time we called her to check on the status of the ring, she was extremely pleasant on the phone. She NEVER sounded as though we were impositions, and she truly made us feel as though we were the most important customers. I got an amazing band with high-specs and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my platinum diamond eternity. Bridal Rings has an amazing staff and a wide selection of jewelry choices and I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality jewelry for amazing prices. Go see Nina! She’s the one with the big smile and the warm charm!
Cathy Lee has earned our trust and has taught us so much throughout our engagement/wedding ring shopping experience. ?She is a certified gemologist by GIA standards. ?She was the most helpful advisor during our shopping experience, and boy did we shop around. ?She has sold me my wedding band, appraised our diamonds, and repaired a faulty crown with a very high level of service. ?There were no pressure sales tactics or gimmicks with Bridal Rings. ?They carry very high quality diamonds and are extremely professional and friendly.Cathy makes us feel as though we are her friends. ?She has become our future go-to expert for jewelry. ?I can’t wait to bring my close friends in to meet her when they need engagement rings!
As the maid of honor, it was my duty to accompany my cousin to the ever-lasting hunt for wedding coins (a catholic wedding tradition) in the Downtown LA jewelry district. Although Bridal Rings Company seemed to have a wide selection of wedding related items (jewelry, unity candles, etc) there were no coins to be found. Fail! Also, the prices weren’t as competitive as only prices.
My fiance wanted a cobalt band for his wedding ring, and Bridal Rings Company had a great selection with fast turnaround time, a plus since we came to buy the rings just before he was planning to leave for a trip he wouldn’t return from until shorly before our wedding. On our first visit, Rollence and I tried on rings and received quotes for different styles and widths. ?A month later, we were ready to buy, and even though I ended up getting my ring from a different jeweler, we were still able to get his ring for the originally quoted price.Just a tip for anyone ring shopping – Bridal Rings Company offers a discount if you pay cash, as do many other shops in the area.
I purchased an engagement ring from Bridal Rings Company in June of this year. Jay and Paula were very welcoming. I went without my fiance and Paula personally modeled a handful of rings for me until I narrowed my options down to what I thought would be my best choice in terms of style and budget. ?I went back and forth a few times, but I was never pressured one way or the other. I was given as much time as I needed and I was always treated as a legitimate buyer. ?My fiance LOVES the ring I chose and I owe much of that to Paula’s keen understanding of what it was that I was looking for.We went back a few weeks later to get the ring re-sized and again the service was top notch. George was very helpful in helping us fit the ring and they we’re able to re-size it in about an hour, while we strolled through downtown.Bridal Rings Company has a fantastic selection for all styles and budgets. I can’t wait to go back and pick out our wedding bands.
* ?Ask for Paula. ?She helped us with our engagement ring and wedding bands on two separate occasions. ?* ?Like other reviewers we were confused and disappointed by many of the small shops in the jewelry district. ?That is, until we walked across the street to the Diamond Exchange to look at ?the Bridal Rings Company.* The staff was friendly, patient, and relaxed. You can come here and be comfortable and unpressured. ?After watching the staff with other people and during our time with them, I know that they are excited for you and that they are going to help you pick out what looks best for you at the best price. ?Might sound a little cliche but it’s true.* ?Parking lot (Paid) close by or take the Metro like we did off at Pershing Square short walk. ?Sixth Floor. ?Did I mention Paula? ?She is great!* ?Definately tell them that you saw them reviewed on yelp.
Geez where to start? I walked all over downtown and looked at a lot of diamonds and a lot of jewelers before emailing Bridal Rings Company for a quote. Jay was my sales rep and he was fantastic. The price I got on the diamond was far and away the best of any of the jewelers downtown and when I actually laid my eyes on the sparkler I knew I had found my diamond after all. I designed my own band and Jay worked with me and the 3-D modeler to get things just right. He was patient and informative and very easy to work with. After I got the 3-D model, they cast the band in wax and then made it up in gold. The entire process was a pleasure and now I’m looking forward to getting the bands made. FANTASTICO!
My fiance and I recently went on a large hunt for the perfect engagement ring. ?We went to about 14 stores over a period of 3 weekends. ?This was our absolute favorite store hands down. ?It’s a nice reputable store that has been there for 20 some years. ?They have great quality, great prices, and a huge selection to choose from. ?I bought my fiance’s wedding band here, and he purchased my engagement ring and matching wedding band from them as well. ? They did a great job, and what really impressed me was how much they stand behind their products. ?I’m a kind of picky. ?I loved the engagement ring we purchased, but the matching wedding band they made for me didn’t quite suit me. ?The quality was great, but I wasn’t happy with the style. ?So, we took it back, and asked them if they could make a few changes to the wedding band, and they were happy to do so. ?They were quick, and only charged us for the labor to fix it. ?Now, it’s perfect, and I couldn’t be happier with my ring set. ?They also offer a lifetime guarantee on most of their jewelry, so if anything cracks, or any little diamonds fall out of the setting, they will replace it. ?I highly recommend them.
This was our sixth stop in our engagement ring shopping. It could have been our first and only. They were so helpful in educating us and helping us narrow down our choices (get Nancy’s help on this part). I needed to special order mine and it came in a week before I expected. You go in expecting to haggle since it’s in the Jewelry District downtown. I have no negotiation skills, but this was no problem at all since they give you great value on the onset, it’s like the negotiation is all done for you.I’m happy that I did go here last since I learned how much of a value this place is and how a helpful jeweler can really make a difference. Sure, almost every jewelry store (but 1) was nice, but Bridal Rings really went out of their way. I recommend this place 100%.
My boyfriend….correct that, my Fiance(!) recently surprised me by proposing a few weeks back. The ring is the most beautiful engagement ring! He had apparently done a lot of research, including here on Yelp, and narrowed it down to a few places in the Jewelry district. After visiting a few places where he felt the staff was a bit too pushy, he went into Bridal Rings Company. That was his last stop! George was fantastic and spent a lot of time with him and eventually helped him choose THE ring. George is extremely patient, knowledgeable and friendly! We went back after the engagement to get the ring re-sized. George not only helped us again, but remembered my Fiance’s name and mine (he has an unusual name so it is impressive!)! ?While they re-sized the ring, George recommended Casey’s Irish pub around the corner for us to grab lunch which we gladly did – ended up spending a few hours there enjoying the food and drinks! But I digress. I was in the area so I went back to see George today to pick up our appraisal and he remembered me after meeting me only once! He knew my fiance’s name and mine all over again. While we talked, he offered to clean my ring again – it’s always extra beautiful when they clean it! George and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly, always offering water or coffee and letting us know how long services will take (never very long at all!). They are patient and really know their diamonds – they won’t pressure you to buy anything you don’t want and really listen to what you want before helping you find the perfect ring. We would highly recommend coming here for any diamond needs. We have since recommended this place to friends and family and would recommend it to everyone – just ask for George!Thank you George and Bridal Rings Company for my beautiful ring!
After an unsuccessful day of walking aimlessly around the jewelry disctrict…we consulted yelp and headed to Bridal Rings Company – located in a fancy building we stared at the elevator buttons until someone told us to press the button of the floor we were going to. ?Upon being buzzed in we were in a small area with cases of rings. ?We were lucky to get Cathy (not sure if its with a C or a K) – and she was super nice. ?My husband, who dislikes most people, felt that was sincere and honest. ?She was not high pressure, just stated the facts and shows us different rings. ?They could custom make it however we wanted. ?I love my wedding band! ?We also had to get his ring re-sized, as he was using a ring that belonged to his father. ?We mentioned yelp and got $50 off…so we basically got his ring re-sized for free. ?While we were there we got my engagement ring deep cleaned (also free) and left with a free jewelry cleaner. ?I brought my ring back in a week before the wedding for a final cleaning and they said I should bring our rings in twice a year for a free cleaning. ?Now THAT is good service, and GREAT prices.
After going to about half a dozen jewelers, I finally got my engagement ring from Bridal Rings Company and my fiance loved it!I got referrals from others and did my own online research and was lucky to stumble onto the BRC web site. I made an online inquiry and asked that I be contacted via email. As part of registering, I reluctantly entered my cell phone number because I feared being pestered with a call. But those fears were never realized. Jay was respectful of my request to contact me via email. Jay got the parameters of what I was looking for over email – the 4C’s I was looking for, the type of ring, and of course my price range. Not once did he call me like I feared. Only the night before my appointment did he call to confirm and even then he called at night like I had requested. The next morning, I stepped into BRC ready to be pressured into something I didn’t want like I had experienced at other jewelers. Instead Ned took the baton from Jay and got a feel for what I was looking at. When he did, he went through the half dozen diamonds Jay had selected based on our email exchanges and said lets start with the best. When I saw the diamond, I knew from my gut, it was the one! Now I had to negotiate a price that was agreeable to my budget. Ned was fantastic in meeting me where I needed to be and about an hour and a half later, I had an engagement ring.My experience with BRC was nothing less that spectacular and I would recommend them to anyone looking out there. I got the end result I was looking for…an engagement ring that my fiance loves. A few tips when looking for the right ring:1) Educate yourself as much as you can about diamonds. Learn the 4C’s like the back of your hand.2) Visit as many jewelers as you can stand and get as many quotes as you can and shop those quotes against each other.3) When you see the diamond you like from your heart and gut and your wallet, you will know that is the one irregardless of what the 4C’s are.Good luck out there.
People are constantly complimenting my ring…and it never gets old.Paula is fantastic! I liked her right away, especially when she tried to talk us OUT of spending $$ on certain aspects of a diamond…thats when I knew we were in good hands. ?I initially came in with a particular engagemt ring design in mind, but am so grateful she talked me out of it. In fact, we ended up getting a band exactly like one she was wearing on her own finger (not her wedding band) because i found it absolutely perfect. ?And bear in mind, I’m not one to own anything that someone else has…but this was an exception. Plus, she had about 3 or 4 stacked ones of varying sizes.I look forward to going back for cleanings just to see her. I highly recommend. You’ll have a great experience and probably save $ in the meantime.
I signed up specifically just to raise awareness of just how awesome this place is. ?Me and my now fiance shopped all around the jewelry distinct and found some places that offered ok customer service, good prices, but when we got here the place was filled with couples not shopping but couples getting exactly what they were looking for. ?That caught our attention. So after sitting down and talking with a rep, Ned (he’s the man w/ the cool ’stache) made sure that we knew exactly what we were buying and how to buy. ?He made sure we understood the difference between the certification companies (who’s stricter on their grading) and which cuts compliment certain clarities and colors.By the time we left the place, we felt very good. ?We were well treated and my fiance looked at like 2345239 different settings and there was no sign of frustration or impatience on their part.oh and about prices: you can get the lower end stuff cheaper here but you can also get the higher grade stuff at an amazing price here too. ?You get what you pay for. ?=)Because of their great hospitality and customer service, I chose to go back their and pick up an engagement ring. ?I can finally call my long time girlfriend, FIANCE now. =)seriously people, check out this place. give em a shout!
You did it, Bridal Ring Company! You found my perfect engagement ring! Not only did you find the ring of my dreams, you treated me with class and dignity, considering I had a fairly moderate budget to work with. You dedicated your time, energy and knowledge on my soon to be husband and I, so much so, we felt like we were the only ones there (even though we were not.) You, Cathy, brought out everything you thought I would like, let me try it on and explained everything there is to know about each ring and even worked with our budget. You will forever get ALL of my jewelry business! Thank you for making it such a great experience! P.S- If you buy a ring from them, they will dip it and clean it for life, as well as give you 100% of what you paid for your diamond (if you buy from them) and let you trade it in for a bigger diamond!
My husband and I came in to upgrade the center stone on my engagement ring. Zaven was our jeweler. He is one of the gems of the company! He is so extremely gracious and I felt like he hand-picked an excellent diamond from their inventory just for us! (Maybe he didn’t but that’s how we felt!)Jay the owner also stepped in during the session. Jay is great as well but also more to the point about finalizing the sale. I was impressed with him for emphasizing being comfortable with what you can afford and not feeding into buyers greed. I think that’s honorable given his position as owner. Expect to be treated well but they’re still a business and expanding very quickly. It makes sense they will give more attention to clients who are purchasing more. There were other couples, who came in after us, who were being shown their diamonds privately in the “diamond room”. And we were also one of the couples walking the halls for an hour+ waiting for our stone to be set and polished. But when all was said and done we were so happy and impressed with the beautiful ring. And Jay even jumped out of the store to personally greet us goodbye. So the rest is forgiveable I’d say! I’m confident that with the right expectations you will have a memorable experience!
Although I initially went to the downtown jewelry district to find a good deal I never thought I would also find professional help and service. I was really not looking into becoming a diamond expert; therefore, I wanted a place I could trust in helping make my decision. ? Bridal Rings provides more than good prices, they offer great customer service and really work hard so you leave happy with your purchase. I try to be very careful with my purchases and I felt that Jay and Zaven always tried their best to make sure I was happy with my final engagement ring decision. ?Jay is really passionate about his business and with his years of experience helps you find something you will love. Whenever I had doubts about my purchase (which happened more often than I like to admit) they were always there to answer questions I might have. They are good with getting back to you by phone, email, or in person of course.Despite the fact that I made several trips to the store, they always treated me with great pleasure and patience. ?This is not an easy accomplishment when the store is busy on Saturdays. ?Not everything went perfect when I purchased my ring but I really liked the fact that any problem or concern I had they were always there to help. ?This is why I gave them 5 stars. ?They really made an effort to make sure I was not only happy but also confident with my purchase. By the way, my fianc loved her ring. ?I actually took her by one day so the staff could answer some questions she had about her ring. ?I was proud to show her the professional service that comes with the ring. ?They even encouraged her to come by during lunch to get her ring maintained whenever she wants.
I bought our diamond engagement ring here after spending 2 months researching diamonds. They are very friendly and professional, have a great selection of diamonds and rings. Cathy who is a gemologist was great to work with. Very knowledgeable, friendly, honest. I felt that I could trust her opinion when I was working with her.Like most places in the LA jewelry district, they are fairly competitive and willing to negotiate a bit on price. For the absolute lowest price though, you are still better off buying from a internet dealer online. But for us, I needed to see the setting in person as my fiancee is rather picky. So it was easier to go to a physical store and pay a little more and actually be able to compare diamonds side by side and ring settings side by side which I would not have been able to do online.
My fiancee and I read all of the great reviews and decided to check out their selection. ?Sure enough, we ended up purchasing 2 beautiful rings. Nina helped us with everything and was a pleasure to work with (no high-pressure sales tactics or anything)! ?She even worked within our budget.Request to work with Nina – she’s the best! ?They provide cleanings for a lifetime and have been in business for 20+ years, which is helpful in determining how long they will be around. ?They even took care of everything we needed insurance-wise. Such a pain-free experience.
I took my engagement ring to Bridal Rings Company to get sized after dealing with some bs at Robbins Brothers Glendale (see my RB Glendale review) and I honestly wish I had come to BRC in the first place. I will never go back to RB after the great experience I had with BRC.Hubby and I came in on a Friday and it wasn’t crowded so we were helped right away. They charged $45 to size my ring and it only took two hours since their jewelers are on site. We asked them some info that RB had told us and the information they gave us confirmed RB was full of it. They also gave us a quote of $150 for a diamond RB wanted to charge us $750 for and they could have it in a matter of hours rather than the four weeks RB told us. They also suggested we hold off on buying the diamond because the damage wasn’t as bad as RB made it seem. This is a sign of a truly honest business IMHO. They could have taken my $150 but it seems they would rather have my trust and believe me they got it.We had errands to run so we just told them we would come back the next day to pick up the ring. Saturday morning it was far more crowded but we were still helped right away. The guy that helped us was very nice and he even gave my ring a free cleaning and rodium dipping. They even took pictures of it under a special camera and showed us some before and after pictures so we could see the difference. I REALLY wish I had gone there in the first place. They have an amazing selection of vintage style rings and my husband and I kept pointing out different rings to each other. I could not get over how many beautiful art deco style settings they had and I was kind of envious of all the brides in the shop. It’s like every setting was more intricate and more beautiful than the next. The majority of their settings are platinum or white gold and all of the rings are displayed without a diamond so you can choose your diamond or even put in a different type of stone. They also have a pretty big selection of men’s rings, far more than they had at RB. The guy that helped us told us they can also custom make any piece for you too. I can just imagine how gorgeous a vintage style setting would be with a brilliant sapphire stone! Just try doing that at RB and see how far you get.The service and selection at BRC is fantastic. The hubby said he would definitely come back here for an anniversary band and I know I will definitely come back here if I ever buy a ring for any reason.Shop is on the 6th floor right across from the elevator. Parking is $18 on weekdays and $6 on weekends. The Pershing square subway stop also right on the corner if you’re subway accesible and/or don’t want to pay for parking.
We have been buying from Bridal Rings (and Jay) for probably a decade and have alwayrs recommended them to others who desire top quality product, beautiful designs, stellar service, and excellent pricing.Just this morning, my husband surprised me with an incredible ring fashioned after a Tiffany design (but Bridal rings version was prettier, better stones and better pricing) for our 21st anniversary. ?I got him a pair of tennis shoes. ?I think I got the better end of the deal. But the story is that Jay and his crew helped fashion the surprise, shipped the ring ‘on consignment’ to make sure I liked it, and helped make the whole experience extra special.Thank you Jay and Bridal Rings!!!The Cortrights
Above and Beyond the call of Customer Service…Was recommended to this store through a friend after explaining to him about the horrible experiences I was having at other local engagement ring stores. Of course I went on Yelp! to see the reviews and surprised how many people praised their service and prices. Took the trip to Downtown LA Jewelry District and saw the store is centrally located upstairs in a beautiful skyscraper. It wasn’t on the corner of a busy LA street. I spoke with Ned about various rings and he properly educated me on designs and diamonds. This was around August 2009. We chatted for over an hour and looked at rings with an intricate design and “classic” look. After finding a wonderful ring I put a deposit.Unfortunately, I was recalled back to military and shipped to Afghanistan for 8 months with my Marines. I had limited electricity, but NED kept in contact through the deployment. He took photos and sent them to my email. I was very appreciative. I was hesitant of the diamond size and he helped me pick a new size and clarity to fit my price range. He anticipated my return back to the US in July 2010 and had the ring ready for me.NED remembered my face and name of soon to be Fiance. He recalled our prior emails and remembered everything we talked about over a year ago. I have never felt so respected or appreciative by a company. It was amazing to see how much they care and went out of the way to accomodate my needs. I received a killer deal and I’m sure NED took a hit on the final price, but he sealed a great deal.I have multiple friends ready to purchase engagement rings and will recommend Bridal Rings Company. Most of all, I will recommend NED and the staff. I plan on purchasing the wedding band and male ring here in the near future. Thanks for staying true to customer service and taking care of my Fiance and myself.Oohrah and Semper FiTom
Paula is GREAT!!! This place is amazing!!! I came here with my boyfriend looking for my engagement ring and had a great experience!!!Our first time in the store, we were promptly greeted by Paula who was very knowledgeable, friendly, and never pushy. Paula took the time to fully educate us about diamonds, different settings and metals, being that we were both new to the process. Paula took the time to get to know us, what we liked, and what we really wanted out of a ring. I fell in love with a beautiful vintage-style setting on our first visit. On our second visit Paula worked with us to have it fit our budget. She picked out a superb stone in both size and quality and with her extraordinary efforts she definitely made it happen. Their price ended up being far lower in price and much, much higher in quality and craftsmanship/detail than other jewelers we had visited. Thank you Paula and all at Bridal Rings!!!Advice: Bridal Rings is definitely the place to come. We look forward to doing business with them again in the future.
We could not have asked for better service, or more professionalism. They were very accomidating and understanding. I recommend you contact them via email in advance with your budget so they can have stones ready for you to see. I am more in love with my diamond than the man who bought it for me! lol (pretty close~!) Ladies, Jay knows what he is doing and will get you all hooked up. If you must, do your shopping, go ahead. But I can guarantee that nobody did more shopping than we did. Nobody had stones as nice and not for near the awesome prices, and selection was more than abundant. Cant say enough… if you need a diamond, GO HERE!!!!! Any questions, I am so confident, you may email me personally at footballhottie522@yaho… for a more personal recommendation. THAT, is how happy I am!
I got a beautiful ring from my husband which was purchased here. I went back later to resize it. The people working there are very pleasant. They don’t have the infamous sales people attitude. I also purchased from them a surprise-ring for my husband. They have a very nice selection of diamond male rings. If I were a millionaire I would get him ten rings ( one for each finger) LOL
I went to Bridal Rings with my boyfriend, now fiance, to pick out an engagement ring. I sent an inquiry email to the company asking about heart shaped diamonds- i love hearts, and Cathy replied right away letting me know that she could have some for me to try on if I gave her a date that I could come by the show room. I set a date so that my honey could come with me and we could pick something out together. We found the perfect ring with Cathy’s help. The experience was great for the both of us. The reason for the 2 stars is that Cathy told us that the certification for the ring was in their vault and she would not be able to give it to me at that time, but would mail it. 2 days later I sent a reminder and thank you email to her. I did not receive a response. Then 2 weeks went by and guess what….no certificate in the mail. I finally called and spoke to a gentlemen who could not find the certificate and had to call me back. A few hours later and I received a call back and saying he found it and would have it mailed. It has been 7 days since that call and still no certificate. I do not live that far that it should take that long for me to receive this certificate by mail. It is funny that when I wanted to buy something that Cathy was so attentive with her emails, but once the sale was completed, poof, no help. Now besides the fact that they have an unhappy customer, they will also be losing out on business since we still need the wedding bands. I guess I will have to go somewhere else.
Awesome experience. ask for Zaven. ?He is really thorough and took his time to explain the different cut clarity etc. I appreciated his knowledge and patience. The price I got for a xxx ring is good. Haha
In short…excellent service, stellar quality, great price, phenomenal guarantee, we couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend Bridal Rings Company with no hesitation.Being “newbies” to the diamond world (and after having heard so many horror stories about scams and shady jewelers) my new fianc and I were quite leery about the whole process of buying an engagement ring. Fortunately, we were able to find the Bridal Rings Company where our fears of anything bad happening to us were quickly put rest.We first heard of the Bridal Rings Company when we fell in love with a magnificent “Michael M” setting online and found that Jay was an authorized reseller. We contacted them via e-mail and had a response from the owner Jay within 24 hours. Over the phone Jay was kind, patient, courteous and spent a great deal of time listening to our needs while educating us on all of our options. A week later we arrived for the physical appointment. The ring that we had requested was sitting there waiting for me (which fit perfectly), and all of the potential center stones that might have been a good fit for us were lined up and awaiting our examination. After our first call with Jay we had done extensive research about the quality, grade, pricing etc. of loose stones in several different places to become more knowledgeable about buying diamonds. In comparison to the selections and pricing we saw at Jay’s, we felt that his offerings were by far superior in quality and lower in price than other options that we had found elsewhere. Product aside, Jay and his staff were positive, exhibited excellent communication skills, flawless and timely service and treated us with total respect. The whole deal was straight up, we wasted no time being shown things that we weren’t interested in, being up-sold on anything that we weren’t prepared to do and there was no pressure to do the deal whatsoever. As a result, my ring is spectacular! And thanks to Jay’s impeccable integrity and sincere desire to do a top quality job, the entire experience was practically effortless. It feels awesome to know that we have found an honest, trustworthy, reliable jeweler that my fianc and I can go to for all of our future jewelry.
We looked at hundreds of rings at numerous places and ended up getting both our bride and groom rings at Bridal Rings Company. They had a great selection at an even greater price and there was no high pressure selling involved. I would highly recommend going there!
First of all, in addition to initial reviews from fellow Yelpers, I strongly recommend extensive research of the Jewelry District to find the jeweler that best fits your needs. ?And absolutely nothing beats stepping foot into the store. ?There are a lot of good reviews on Yelp, but it is important to find out for yourself.I did extensive research throughout the southland for engagement rings and came to the conclusion that the Jewelry District provides the most variety, best prices, and best reviews from a number of websites.I walked into half a dozen jewelry stores in the District to find out for myself which Jeweler would suit my budget and interest. ?I can’t stress this enough. Reading reviews on Yelp should only help you compile a list of potentials. This brought me to Bridal Rings Company, who has great variety and stellar quality. ?George is very polite and helpful. ?We were able to find the perfect setting and stones, all the while working within my budget.Overall, the experience was tremendous – customer service, variety of settings and stones, pricing, and the included warranty/guarantee package. ?My fiance and I will be returning for our wedding bands, and we have recommended Bridal Rings Company to everyone we have spoken to. ?The ring is brilliant, and my fiance’s girlfriends are all jealous with envy.My fiance has been wearing her ring for more than one month, and she is still in awe. ?Thanks Bridal Rings Company!
Okay, so I debated about updating this review for over a month. I wasn’t going to but what they did has been really nagging me. I never went back to this place to shop for 2 reasons:1. The only reason customer service would have been better is because I had written my original review. If you dont ALWAYS have great customer service then there is a real problem.2. I don’t appreciate being bribed to come back into a place. The manager or owner or whatever left a public comment on my post, that’s fine. What he sent to me was completely different:”As a good will gesture to make it up for the gas money, a complimentary Tungsten band will be given to your fianc as a gift from our company.”My boyfriend doesn’t want a tungsten band, and if he did I can afford to buy one that doesn’t come with strings attached. Tip: Give good customer service from the start. Don’t bribe your customers to shop with you.I will say this, it is nice that the owner seems to care about his company’s image.
Wow where do I begin. ?I am going to make this short and to the point. ?I could not recommend enough the service and staff @ BRC. ?I worked with George who was so patient, honest and helpful. ?I am extremely high maintenance and really went back and forth as far as design, and diamond choice. ?I will never go anywhere else for any type of jewelry. ?They worked with me and an extremely ridiculous time frame I had just days before Christmas. ?The ring turned out even better then I had ever imagined. ?My fiancee gets compliments all day every day. ?The price was far less then going to a name brand designer and there is something special about designing a one of a kind ring. When you go in ask for George – I promise you will not be disappointed. You will get so much “bang for your buck”
The people at the Bridal Rings Company are seriously the nicest people, ever! We shopped around at Tiffany’s, as well as the other local competitors in the Jewelery District that are listed here on Yelp as well. And we knew almost immediately that Bridal Rings Company was a little different. In a good way.
Customer Service: It was the only place that offered us seats as well as refreshments. And everyone we spoke to there were genuinely warm and friendly. We were helped out by George and he was amaaaazing! I can’t say enough good things about him. I stumbled along trying to explain what I wanted, and even though sometimes I wasn’t articulating myself all that great, I’d give him a few key words and he’d bring out rings that were truly beautiful and not only rings that I really liked, but rings that I didn’t even KNOW I would like until he showed me. I told him I wanted something unique and he goes, “well how about… this” and puts together this lovely diamond/setting combination that I never would have thought of myself. Plus, I was super wishy-washy. I couldn’t make up my mind! But George was so patient with us. He gave his opinion, but he never rushed me or tried to push me toward a decision when I wasn’t ready to make one. He never gave us the hard sell which I truly appreciated after getting some hardcore selling tactics laid on us at other stores. This was going to be a investment of several thousand dollars, I’m so glad they gave us the freedom to take ?our time with such a big decision. And not once did they even give the slightest hint that they wished we’d hurry up and make up our minds. From beginning to end Stainless Steel Necklaces, they were nothing but friendly and patient. Customization of the ring: A lot of the places we visited were either fairly reluctant about customizing or it would cost a significant amount to create brand new custom designed rings. But not at Bridal Rings Company. Working with George, we came up with the perfect ring. He even helped us visualize how it would look, with some neat little tricks that helped to “see” how the customized ring would look. We took the shank from one ring, the setting from another, and he suggested a really interesting center stone so that my ring would be unique. He joked afterward that I should patent this design once it gets made. All in all, I think George spent like 2 hours with us, going through different rings, pulling characteristics from one, and matching it with another, and slowly the pieces started falling in place until I was really happy with the one of a kind ring we came up with. Without George’s help and advice, I doubt the ring I had a vague image of in my head would have come to realization. Another really neat thing about Bridal Rings Company was that they draw up a computer rendering of the customized ring so that I can see the ring fully customized and make changes if I need to before it gets made. Very convenient.Pricing: We looked around at several places and Bridal Rings Company has the best prices! Not bargain basement prices, but just good reasonable prices for their products. Selection:As far as I could tell, Bridal Rings Company had the best selection of rings that *I* liked out of the stores we visited. But that’s just preference. I was specifically looking for halo type rings and they had a lot of really nice ones. There was another store that had more options, but the options weren’t as pretty. And like I mentioned with the customization, even if you can’t find the perfect ring, you can probably create it! I had a great experience here, and I can’t wait to see my ring once it’s finished. Will write an updated review once I get the ring in my hands.
i went to a GRIP of places to browse diamonds, this place had the largest selection of diamonds comparable to what i was looking for, which was pretty specific. and even though they had one that was really really close to what i wanted- and wouldve considered, jay put in WORK to keep on looking for the exact one i was shopping for and had access to it the next day.jay and nina provided me with such great service. even though i had already done some research, they both took time to explain some extra things to me that i may not have known yet, just to be sure i knew what i was getting myself into.not only was the customer service awesome, but the prices were the best too. i can honestly say that even if i found a place with something relatively cheaper, id still go here because the customer service is worth more than the monetary savings.
This is absolutely the best place for engagement rings! Large selection and definitely great prices. ?Jay and the entire staff is absolutely wonderful and he totally works with you with whatever is your budget! I recommend them to all my friends and family members if they are looking for engagement rings!
In all fairness to Bridal Rings Co., I feel the need to write an update since my initial review. I guess my hesitation in writing a follow-up review is that it may, in fact, cause more harm to Bridal Rings. In any case, here it goes… Jay, the owner of the store, did contact me once my review was posted. He was very polite in apologizing for my experience and asked me to come down to the store to meet him in person. My husband and I did just that, hoping that the experience would be better. It was somewhat better…I guess. We went for the sole reason of getting our rings serviced and to meet Jay. We arrived at noon and didn’t leave until 3…that’s 3 full hours to get our rings rhodium plated, a process which we were invited to watch and took less than 5 minutes to do. I understand having to wait a while, but 3 hours is a bit excessive for rhodium plating, especially if they were trying to make a better impression. In any case, literally 10 minutes after leaving with our newly serviced rings, I look down and notice that one of the diamonds is missing from my wedding band. I didn’t bang my hand on anything, fall or anything aside from walking since leaving the store, so I was frustrated. We went back to the store and waited another 20 minutes to get it fixed. Honestly, the whole trip was very frustrating and didn’t really leave me with a better feeling about Bridal Rings Co. Don’t get me wrong about Jay. He seems very friendly, very nice and very knowledgeable in jewelry. He takes pride in his store, and I do appreciate very much that he even contacted me in the first place to “right the wrong” of my first visit. Cathie and Nicky are also very nice. ?However, I honestly feel that the operation as a whole needs quite a bit of work in order to service people appropriately.I understand the appeal of the store…the name indicates that they specialize in bridal jewelry, and they do have a fairly large showroom, much larger than many of the other jewelers within the building. However, many (if not all) of the other jewelers that I’ve visited within the building can custom design or create any piece of jewelry to whatever specification you like and they will do this without the premium (proven with the recent purchase of my eternity band, which I did have priced by Bridal Rings and ended up getting larger, high quality diamonds for less elsewhere)…so, the large showroom isn’t really that much of a plus, if that makes sense at all. Also, if you do go visit the store, more often than not, you will find several couples just waiting around to be helped. Granted, there are those off days where there won’t be a wait at all…hopefully you’ll get lucky. ?In any case, during the 3+ hours my husband and I waited for our rings, we spoke to a handful of the “waiting couples” and they weren’t all too happy either. The thing is that by the time you’ve already waited for an hour, you think to yourself, “well shoot, I’ve already waited an hour.”I’m in no way trying to bash Jay or the store…I’m sure Bridal Rings has been able to successfully service many people. I’m just giving my honest review, based on my personal experience and what I was able to gather from the other people I’ve run into at the store. Hope this helps and that everything works out with whatever you decide to do. ?Feel free to contact me if you would like recommendations to other stores that I have had positive experiences with.
We still love our rings and remember the excellent customer service ~ 10 years later!I returned to purchase a pair of earrings to match my wife’s wedding band. ?I’ll go back again to get an anniversary band. ?I would consider none other than Bridal Rings Company.Haven’t used the cleaning & maintenance services as much as we should have (only b/c of distance) but I always have felt confident in their honesty.I know the diamonds I give B.R.C. to clean and inspect are the same that will be returned to me… (that’s definitely not the case w/ a lot of other places ~ especially downtown). So… trustworthy, great customer service, well-priced. ?Don’t wait… get there.
They cleaned my engagement ring for me even though it is from another store. ?I can’t wait to get married!!!!
Our experience at bridal rings with jay was excellent. We went thinking we were just looking to see what’s out there before making a purchase online from somewhere less expensive. Basically this was our experience. We initially stopped by on a Friday afternoon. It wasn’t very crowded and we were helped by jay. We were looking for wedding bands for my wife and I. Unfortunately my wife couldn’t find a band to go with her e-ring (no fault to bridal rings co.. They had just about everything you could expect from a ring shop and if they didn’t have what ur looking for they would offer to have one designed to the exact specs u want. And the prices were very good. Maybe not the absolute cheapest when comparing to an online business with no storefront but after thinking about it, wouldn’t u rather pay a lil more and actually see what ur getting before u pay? )Anyway back to our experience. For my wedding band, I found exactly the design I was looking for. I just wanted It a bit thicker and jay said no problem give me 2-3 weeks. We ended up getting my ring and a custom diamond necklace for my wifefor a great price. And to my surprise our deal was cheaper than anything I could find on the net.I’m my book if u can meet or beat net prices u put a smile on my face. The service? Jay is a very nice and knowledgeable man. He talks alot and wants to gain all of ur jewelry business but if u owned a sales business U’d do the same. My only gripe about this experience was that it was very time consuming. We were there for quite some time on both occasions that we were there. So my advice would be .. If u plan on going there, clear ur schedule and don’t expect a short 30 min trip. Btw.. We also tried a few other places in the jewelry district and were not impressed at all. ?Bridal Rings Co is definitely the place to go!
This review is about the staff at Bridal Rings Co, not the quality of work. ?I do believe that their work and selection of rings is above average. ?Bridal Rings is owned by Jay and Paula. ?They are both very, very pushy. ?Jay is the closer and played sales games with my fiance when he was purchasing my e-ring. ?Think of a car salesman but pushier. ?Paula is just as pushy and really goes for that sales commission, and really knows how to “talk it up”. ?I’ve never dealt with Nick (who I think is the numbers guy) or the woman w/the long hair (I think her name is Cathy). ?Other staff I’ve dealt with are George (very patient and thorough w/his explanations) and Zavin. ?I feel badly for Zavin because it appears that Zavin is their gofer. ?On several occasions Jay yelled at Zavin in front of me, which is not professional or classy to do in front of customers. My advice is: Do not hesitate to walk out and look at other places to make sure that you are getting the best deal. ?They put a lot of pressure on you especially when they can sense you’re about to walk. ?I wish Jay and Paula could have handled themselves a little better and not have been so pushy.
We made an appointment and met with Jay. ?Jay was friendly, helpful, patient and made us feel very comfortable. ?He took over an hour to sit with us and explained a lot of things. ?He would take a minute here and there to help other people but we were given priority. ?Even after we purchased the ring, Jay went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. ?We got a good deal on the rings we purchased and the service we received from Jay and his employees were excellent. ?There are a lot of options in LA’s Jewelry District, but Bridal Rings Company is the one to go to. ?Highly recommended.
I am a fan of this store as a whole though I do have mixed feelings about going there again. ?My husband and I purchased our wedding rings there over the summer. ?Their selection was superb and the prices seemed reasonable. ?I bought my dream wedding band for a decent price. ?They also set their diamonds, clean rings, and make adjustments on site- no need to hustle to various stores like other, more sketchy places in the diamond district. ?In addition, Nina was such a doll and made me feel like a princess. ?That all said, my experience there was not excellent. ?I was not impressed by the service of the male staff (didn’t catch their names but wish that I had, I would have written about them). ?My then fiancee fell in love with one of their rings but it had to be special ordered because it was not in stock. ?When my husband’s band did arrive almost a month later, it was incredibly large, as in two sizes too large, even though a “professional” (one of the male staff, young & dark-haired) sized his ring finger. ?Well, his finger was sized again and the ring had to be special ordered again. It’s arrival date would be a week before my wedding date! ?Not like I had other things to do that week than to rush downtown to pick up our rings. ?And what if they messed up again… ?Well, when the ring finally arrived, my husband tried it on and it was too small!!! ?At this point, I was very upset and I asked one of the male staff members (light hair, glasses) how this mistake could happen, again, if a “professional” sized my then fiance’s finger. ?He rudely criticized my complaints saying that I sounded like a disgruntled customer waiting at a pharmacy and that I needed to calm down. ?Uhh….first of all, the customer’s always right. ?Second of all, I was right because the store made two huge mistakes back to back which could have been disastrous to the wedding. ?Lastly, my fiance and I were spending thousands of dollars, not ten or twenty, so we are allowed to complain about inferior services and a product that we did not purchase. ?Luckily, the store was able to stretch out my husband’s ring that day and we were able to take it home. ?On the walk back to the car, we passed a store that had my husband’s wedding band displayed on the window. ?Long story short:5 stars for the women’s merchandise5 stars for Nina- ask for her4 stars for the prices0 stars for the inept, rude, male staff members & two, huge mistakes on their part
I loveeeee Bridal Rings. I got my wedding ring set here for an amazing price, and recently purchased diamond jackets for my studs and a diamond pendant. By far, they are the most professional, fair, and high quality jeweler in LA. Be sure to visit Ned or Jay!
First of all, Ned is awesome! He helped hubby with my gorgeous engagement ring and of course, we bought our wedding banns there. Superb customer service and the quality and selection of rings is overwhelming. Bridal Ring Company has had ads in all major wedding mags so we were assured that this was no fly-by-night store. They have all the certs and licenses posted on their wells for further assurances. ?After checking out dozens of shops within the jewelry district (it’s really overwhelming) we’re glad we ended up with Bridal Rings.
We accidentally stumbled across this place while wandering around the jewelry district. This place is totally legitimate and offers a more intimate shopping experience compared to the smaller stalls you’ll come across in other parts of the district. The place is small and there were many customers Ask for Paula. She was sweet and amazing and helped us find the perfect diamond for our wants and needs. Although there’s no pressure to buy, she really makes you feel like you are getting a great deal for what you want and you walk away feeling great about it. An excellent jeweler. Recommended!
Just gave my fiance the ring that I purchased from Bridal Rings Company and she loved it! A few months back we went shopping at the LA jewelry district for an engagement ring, and if you’ve been there, you know this can be a overwhelming experience. Based on yelp reviews, Bridal Rings was one of the places that we visited; while not a large store, it does have a nice selection of bands and diamonds. Based on my research of online diamond sellers, their prices seemed to be competitive and they seemed to be willing to price match. I felt like I got a great deal on a designer ring that had to be custom made due to my fiance’s tiny hands and my diamond choice. Zaven was my salesperson and he was a great help in the overall process; I really had no experience with diamonds, and he was able to explain to me the importance of diamond proportions, cut, color, etc. ?Once I told him my budget and the ring I wanted to get, he was able to show me diamonds that fit within my price range. He also informed me that if I chose to upgrade the diamond at any point in time, 100% of its value would go into the new purchase. Now, I would have given Bridal Rings a 5 star rating except for the fact that ?they initially told me that the ring would be ready in 3 to 4 weeks, but it in fact it took 9 weeks. Naturally, since it was a custom ring, I went into it knowing that it would take a little longer to complete, but they also knew this when they gave me a completion date. What really bothered me the most about this is that no one from their store called me to inform me of the status of the ring. That seems to be basic customer service. ?I had to call twice around the 6 and 7 week mark in order to get some info, and all they were able to tell me was that the ring should arrive very soon. It finally took an email to the management in order to get Jay (manager or owner?) to follow up with me concerning the ring. He apologized for the lack of communication, ?stated that they would normally contact the customer in this case, and he did follow up with me about the status of the ring. A couple of days later the ring had arrived Sterling Silver Jewelry, and I felt a huge sense of relief! So maybe after considering the tardiness of the ring I ordered I would rate my overall experience somewhere closer to ?3.5 stars. But when I reflect on the overall experience, including the excellent customer service that I received in-store, in combination with the great deal that I got on the ring, I would still recommend this place.
It’s roughly half the price of Robbins Bros rings and there’s really no nasty negotiating — very very very pleasant experience with both Jay and Zavan. And more importantly, good deals. The kind of good deal that makes you smile for the rest of the day.Zavan was awesome — introduced us to Louis Bottega down the street and heard what we wanted for bands and showed us exactly what we were looking for even though it was a good bit less costly than what we told him we were willing to spend. So yes — honest guys, good prices — but you have to get your ass downtown.
I spent hours online looking at solitaires on http://bluenile.com and http://mondera.com to get some ideas on price. I originally went to Bridal Rings Company just to see some of these diamonds in person (the differences between a G color or a J color, a VS2 or an SI1, etc.), but felt better about actually holding the diamonds in my hand. It’s one thing to click things off on a computer, but another to stare down into a diamond through a 10x loupe. When I went home and compared the prices online with http://bluenile.com, they were very close. Sure, http://bluenile.com doesn’t charge state sales tax and their diamonds are a bit less expensive, but their settings cost a lot more. And we can go into the store and get the ring dipped in rhodium whenever we want to make it look new again. Not bad. And if we want a nicer diamond, we can just pay the difference and swap out the old for the new diamond.Cathy was very knowledgeable and patient with us. I was nervous about the whole thing. She was very relaxed and let me take my time and not worry. I didn’t buy the most expensive ring in the store, but she gave me the time and attention I needed to feel comfortable.
I shopped around but found the best price at Bridal Rings. ?The service was great and the ring is marvelous. ?I highly recommend the store!
We stumbled upon this place… it was destiny! ?We wandered a bit aimlessly around the district not quite sure where to go. ?We found BRC. ?Staff is amazing, Sevan is a gentleman and incredibly knowledgable – Jay is the high energy “seal the deal” guy. ? We received VIP treatment. ? We walked away happy , satisfied and anticipating picking up our rings the next day. ?When we arrived the rings were ready and even more beautiful than we imagined once the diamond was set!My husband and I highly recommend this jeweler! Thank you BRC!
Living in Orange County it is know that the jewelery district in Los Angeles is the place to go for selection and value in jewelery. ?I had a budget in mind and the criteria required to make ?the purchase. I also had a good idea of what to expect. We came upon the Bridal Rings Company by word of mouth. We liked the store and the people but chose to spend our day looking, shopping and obtaining as many comparisons as we could. All this let us back to the Bridal Ring Company where we purchased our ring. ?After the process of comparison that I do with most of my big purchases, I can honestly say we are so satisfied and delighted with the ring we got and the overall experience of dealing with this company. Jay and Ned, the two people we dealt with, were a pleasure to do business with. But don’t take my word for it and check it out yourself.
My partner loves her ring!!! ?And I mean she keeps showing it to everyone and tries to blind others with the sparkle. ?This place is great! ?We came in late on a Saturday without an appointment while they were super busy and they took great care of us. ?My partner was looking for something big. ?I wanted to make her happy but was worried about the final price. ?Bridal Ring Company made it happen. ?Not only is the ring gorgeous it was by far the best value out there, and we shopped around. ?We also felt totally welcomed as a lesbian couple. ?I was able to get her the 1.5 carat she wanted, stay within my price range, and she said yes! ?What more could you ask for.
Bridal Rings “rocks” rocks–and that’s the bottom line. ?First of all, the personal service is unsurpassed. ?If for some reason the staff cannot get to you immediately (like the Jeanne P. princess who posted on 6/3), it’s because the place is being patronized, even after hours, with many new and return customers who come in to purchase jewelry that represents milestones in their lives. ?They WANT to be there because they know they’ll be taken care of with all the time they need, never rushed and never pressured to purchase. ?If you don’t want to wait even a second, call first and make an appointment so they can anticipate your arrival. ? Second, the quality and range of what they have to offer is unbelievable. ?Some of the larger carat designer rings, along with loose stones, are in the vault and not necessarily on display. ?All you have to do is ask and you’ll receive. ?The company can be completely trusted as far as information, stone assessment and value, and saying that in the diamond industry is a huge statement. ?The entire staff is at your disposal–especially Nina, Cathy and the owner Jay (who, by the way, picks up the phone himself when it rings and does not rely on an assistant to answer). ?Now, that’s dedication.Jay is always ready and willing to offer his expertise and gracious service. ? He will bend over backwards to make a customer happy, and this includes gestures like complimentary extra service, repairs and additional discounts designed to make the customer feel special and taken care of. ?This is simply because he’s a consummate businessman, and not because he’s “bribing” folks for a return visit. ?Believe me, if for any reason you want to compare prices or shop elsewhere, he WANTS you to go wherever you feel comfortable. ?He’s that confidant in what he has to offer–and what he has to offer is superlative.
Bridal Rings Company is amazing! ?I can’t recommend it enough. ?Ned helped us find the perfect ring and it was almost like he instinctively knew my tastes (within our budget too). ?They have a no pressure style, which is amazing. ?Ned even let us sit there and talk it through together for a good half an hour to decide if it was the right fit for us. ?We walked out with a designer ring at an unbeatable price and we both love it!!!
Awesome service! High quality pieces!! A++++
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! I got recommened to this place from a friend and i’ll never ever regret it. My fiance and I shopped around a few places and by far the customer service and best selection. They make you feel really comfortable and the best part I have the most perfect engagement ring! I get sooooooo many compliments! Jay is fantastic and really cares about his customers. GO HERE!
We were completely new to diamond education as most newly engaged people are and we researched and reviewed for countless hours. We wanted a jeweler with superior craftsmanship and experience, while also having a selection that was unlike anything we saw locally. I have to say after reading many reviews and looking at the great selection of unique rings, we decided to make Bridal Rings Company our choice to create and design my engagement and wedding rings. My fianc wanted to make me feel special and take my breath away when he proposed. The employees were amazing and very helpful whenever we called, emailed, or came in with another question. They answered all of our questions honestly and gave us a lot of education to help us select the perfect diamond after designing our unique setting. As promised, the ring setting was ready in 10 days and it was exactly what we had drawn and explained that we wanted. ?We were completely blown away by the setting and diamond once it was set.We have been married now for 4 months and I get countless compliments on my setting each week. ?It is only one of its kinds, and the diamond sparkles more than anything I have seen before. ?I would highly recommend Bridal Rings Company for any prospective buyers looking for a unique high quality ring and the prices are much better than any retailer we ever compared my engagement ring to.I can’t wait for our 5-year anniversary or my next PUSH GIFT—we are going back to Bridal Rings for earrings to match my ring!!!
I knew my experience at Bridal Rings was going to be amazing from the minute I walked in the door. I was admittedly nervous. Dripping in sweat. After all, I was out of my element, looking to make a big purchase without getting ripped off. Then I met Ned. And he offered me a glass of water. You have no idea how much a few sips of water can change a man’s composure in such a stressful situation. From that point on, I felt comfortable. I did my research beforehand. I knew roughly what I wanted and how much it should cost. Ned patiently showed me many diamonds, even ones I hadn’t thought about. We spent two hours on a busy Saturday. And I walked out without making a purchase. He wrote all the specs down and never pressured me to make a decision. He told me he would follow up in a few days. I took that time to do more research, and quickly found out that I wasn’t getting the same attention, or value anywhere else. I went to Robbins Bros. They were salesy and expensive. I went to other shops in the diamond district. I had some nice interactions, but I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I went online. Only http://bluenile.com had similar diamonds at reasonable prices, but I didn’t want to make such a large purchase online. So I went back to Ned (and Jay the owner, who is also great). I spent another two or three hours, again on a busy Saturday. Again, I can’t stress this enough, the service I received was never rushed, pushy and confrontational. I felt at ease. Finally, after studying the diamond under the large microscope, and under the lights, and with my eyes, for what seemed like hours, I bought the ring. What’s nice about this place is that they will take the time to make sure you get what you want. They are wholesale so you get a lot more bling for you buck. My experience with Ned and Jay was top notch. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. After going to retail stores, shopping online and other places in the diamond district, I gotta say that Bridal Rings was by far the best place to shop, especially if you’re a nervous, sweaty, in-over-his-head guy just looking to find a nice ring without getting ripped off.
This jeweler helped us out in so many ways! For starters we went to downtown L.A. in search of my wife’s wedding ring back in July 09. We ended up arriving downtown right as most of the jewelry places were closing. We weren’t having any luck with the remaining open vendors, and so my wife (fianc at the time) found this place on her cell by doing a Google search. The Google feedback was all very positive and so we called them to see if they were still open. When we called Bridal Wedding Rings the gentleman said they were closed, but that they were willing to stay later to help us out. When we arrived I was very impressed by their professionalism, cleanliness of the store and the overall quality of their jewelry. They were very helpful by taking their time to explain the different ring designs, diamond cuts, and the whole process of what they do. We our course, eventually found the ring that my wife had to have and bought it at a very reasonable price. We were so impressed when they told us it could even be sized right there and then in about 20 minutes. They were even so kind as to clean and re-dip my white gold ring for me. ?We also received a free appraisal of her ring, a cleaning kit, and lifetime rhodium dipping on the ring. This whole experience was meant to be and we are very grateful for coming across such as special place with such a wonderful group of people. Jay and Bridal Rings Company made this ring buying experience one of the easiest and stress free things we ever ended up doing throughout our whole wedding process. I would recommend this store to anyone interested in jewelry of all kinds. Thank you for everything Bridal Rings Co. I’m sure we’ll be back for some anniversary presents!
I felt like this was a bate & switch store. I found 4 rings on line, we went down there and of course, they did not have any of them in stock and told me the rings should have been removed from their website. But before we went in, I emailed inquiring if they indeed had those rings and the response was “yes”. Now because they did not have them, they tried to sell rings twice the cost… I walked out. Thrilled I know better.
Recently purchase an engagement ring there. I’m having it ?custom made and mailed to me so we well see how everything turns out. If it turns out great I’ll leave the 5 stars up if not I’ll come back and change the rating.
We were referred by a friend who bought an engagement ring from Bridal Rings Company. ?We worked with Kathy and picked out the diamond on our second visit. ?We did not see a sample 6 prong setting, but Kathy guaranteed that I would love it. ?The original setting I received was set a little too high. ?When they reset it lower, it prongs became uneven. ?Jay, the owner, was very nice and professional and said they will reset it and remake the head. ?The second setting I received was set at the right height, but the prongs were still not evenly spaced and the head was slightly tilted. I am a very picky person and somewhat of a perfectionist. ?I brought the ring back and they were willing to make a brand new head for it again. ?This time they had me talk directly to George who said he will be making the new setting for me. ?I explained to George my concerns with the setting and what I wanted changed. ?He is very experienced and understood exactly what I wanted. ?When I received the ring back, it looked gorgeous! ?Kathy, Jay and George are fabulous and are genuinely vested in making sure their clients are happy with their experience and their ring. ?I am continually getting compliments about my ring ~ Thank you so much Kathy, Jay and George! ?I am one happy bride-to-be. ?A+++ service!
brought in my engagement ring for an appraisal (for insurance purposes) and a deep polish/cleaning (for the wedding day). ?i’d heard rumors that appraisals in general can be up to $150. ?i called bridal rings and they said their appraisals are usually $50-75. ?nice! ?when i went in i told them we had purchased my wedding band there, and they looked up our account in their system. ?the wait was a bit longer than expected (about 45 minutes), but it was busy. ?(who would have thought so many people would be buying jewelry at 11 AM on tuesday!) ?they handed me my newly shiny and sparkly ring and the appraisal. ?i asked them how much it would be. ?they said NOTHING. ?i said, “really?? ?i feel bad, i didn’t even buy this ring here…” ?their response? ?”You are a CUSTOMER.” ?holy bejeezus, i swooned Stainless Steel Earrings! ?bridal rings co, you’re my new best friend.
We researched engagement rings online for a month or so. ?We narrowed it down to visit two companies in the LA Jewelry district. ?We made appointments with both companies. ?Nina answered the phone at Bridal Rings and was a pleasure to work with from that point on. ?She was friendly and made us felt like family. ?We felt like she really cared about us and not just making the sale. ?We arrived for our appointment and she welcomed us like old friends. ?We spent an hour or so r choosing the perfect ring. ?We were given a very fair price and we didn’t have to haggle for it. ?We had to have the ring made and Nina called us when it was ready. ?She acted so excited about how it turned out. ?We went today to pick it. ?It was surpassed our expectations. ?Nina and the whole group at Bridal Rings are very friendly and personable. ?I would highly recommend Nina and Bridal Rings to anyone looking for a beautiful ring and an awesome buying experience.
Went to LA Jewelry district looking for engagement ring with two wedding bands. We had already shopped around a bit in orange county and wanted to finish off looking in LA before we made up our mind. I researched online which stores had good ratings to narrow down the field. We started at Bridal Rings Co simply because they were the first to open on Saturday. We were there when they opened the doors and still needed to set up. They offered us a seat and coffee while we waiited. Cathy waited on us and helped us narrow down to a few settings as we already had a good idea of what we were looking for. Then we looked at several diamonds with varying degrees of clarity and color before making a decision. Cathy came up with an excellant choice that fit the ring perfectly (1.48 cw). Then Jay came in and they negotiated a price. Jay spoke to us of their guarantee and exchange policy for the diamond. At this point we decided to go look around a bit, since Bridal Rings was the first place we visited. Within 3 hours we were back to buy the bridal rings that Cathy had set aside for us. At the other stores we did not get the sense of family, and service, but mostly the quality of the rings were superior to the others. They sized the ring, set the stone, the wedding bands will be custom made to our specifications as they did not have what we wanted in stock. Everything met our expectations, the price was more than fair. Jay was very supportive to our needs and made the deal happen. One more note, in all the places we visited Bridal Rings was the busiest all day long, that tells me that they are the place to shop.Cathy was great and informative, listened to what we wanted to fill our needs perfectly.
Thanks to Jay and his staff for my perfect ring!
I recently went to Bridal Ring to look at their diamond and ring collection. Jay, Ned, and Cathy were able to provide me with superb service and great pricing on top of that. Will definitely recommend to all of my friends (who are all single and dating) to check this place out.
We recently had a wonderful experience at the Bridal Rings Company. ?The experience there was completely different from the other stores. ? We went to several places before we stopped by there, and I honestly did not expect to walk out with a ring from there. ?When I didn’t find the setting I like when I first got there, instead of just giving up on us, Cathy simply asked about what we have seen so far and what we were looking for. There was no pressure at all. ?Cathy helped us picked out a great ring and a fantastic diamond to go with it. ?She was very knowledgeable, a GIA grad, and was so kind and patient. ? She worked with our budget and did not make us feel like we have to spend a fortune to get a beautiful ring (and we didn’t have to). ?Nina was also very friendly and made us feel very comfortable while waiting for our ring to be sized. ?We will definitely go back to purchase our wedding rings from Bridal Rings.
Bridal Rings is simply the best!!! I am so glad I reviewed jewelry companies before I purchased my fiance’s engagement ring. I had looked at tons of different companies out there, and none of them could compare to the great prices, best customer service, and outstanding selection. When I first began my search I had an idea of what I wanted. After I emailed Bridal Rings, Jay immediately responded to my message and found me what I was looking for and about $2000 less than there competitors. I was amazed that he knew his selection so well, and he could almost read my mind of what I was looking for. Bridal Rings has knowledgeable associates that care about you, and your special occasion. If you think you are getting the best deal on your jewelery selection, think again. Give Bridal Rings a call and let them know about what you need. If you don’t live in California, it’s okay, they can ship to you.
Bridal rings is the place you want to go if: 1.You want to be treated like family 2. You want the most for your money ?3. You want your jeweler to always go above and beyond your expectations. They are patient, honest, and hard working. Anything I needed or had questions about they helped me with. I can’t recomend this company enough. Trust me, this is the place you want to go for the most important jewelry of your life. George and Ned…thank you for being a part of this wonderful engagement experience! I can’t wait for our next purchase!
Shopping for an engagement ring is a pretty intense experience. ?There is so much out there in LA that I used yelp to help me narrow down my search. ?Bridal Rings Company was the first place I visited in the Jewelry district. ?I was very impressed with the diamonds they showed me as well as their selection of rings. ?Nevertheless, I told them that I wanted to shop around and they actually agreed that I should. ?There was no pressure and just encouragement for me to find the right diamond. ?After visiting several other of the top-rated diamond shops, I returned to the Bridal Rings Company to purchase. ?From what I saw, no other shop had the quality of diamond I was looking for within a reasonable budget; let alone, the service that goes with your purchase. ?I ended up getting a beautiful solitaire that my fiance loves! ?Thanks for your help Cathy and Jay.
In response to Jay’s comment: Shopping for wedding bands is a very memorable and important activity for an engaged couple as these are the symbols of love you will forever wear. My fianc and I were very excited to see what Bridal Rings Company had to offer, so you can understand the disappointment we felt when we walked into the store without once receiving acknowledgment that we were there. Jay is correct that I received a phone call while we were waiting in the store, and I honestly do not know the exact amount of time we waited since I don’t have a surveillance tape to review. That is, however, not the main reason for my poor rating. The entire time I was on my phone, my fianc was looking around hoping that at least one associate would make eye contact and indicate to him that they saw us waiting and were ready to help us when one of them became available. He was sitting by the entrance because there was no where else to sit. Good service starts with acknowledgment of your customers the minute they step in the door, even if it is simply to say, “We’ll be right with you.” For that, I still firmly believe that Bridal Rings Company deserves my current rating.
My fiancee and I saw reviews for Bridal Rings on yelp and thought it would be a good idea to give the place a try. After my experience today, I can say without hesitation that Bridal Rings is absolutely the best jewelry store I have ever done business with. We had visited two other jewelry stores that morning prior to our trip to the jewelry district, and not only did those stores feel unwelcoming and over-bearing, but they were totally devoid of customers. Bridal Rings was exactly the opposite. We when arrived, we weren’t greeted with a once over and an a perceived dismissal that we couldn’t afford the jewelry there, we were greeted by Nina. Even though Bridal Rings was packed with patrons, Nina made a point to walk over and personally introduce herself and guide us through the mass of ecstatic brides-to-be who were amazed at the brilliance of the array of diamonds before them, so she could get a feel for who were are, what our personal style is and what we could afford. Nina was the pinnacle of customer service. Not only does Bridal Rings have an endless selection with great pricing, but they have a sales staff with people like Nina who know how to make someone feel like a friend, not a commission. Nina is personable, knowledgeable, she loves her job and it shows in how she and the rest of the staff treat the potential patrons that walk through the front door. I was so impressed by the experience of Bridal Rings, that I will be a customer for life.
I was a little skeptical about the name, I kind of wanted to find our wedding bands at more of an off-beat place. So my fiancee & I went to several places in the Jewelry District recommended by Yelp reviewers, but this was absolutely the best! Nina even helped us over the phone, making us feel welcome before we walked in the door, and once we arrived, we felt as though she had all the time in the world for us. She was like a great hostess, without being overbearing in the least, the way some salespeople had been with us. She was incredibly patient and good-natured, and excited, as we were, to find the perfect wedding bands for us, and we took our time looking at a LOT of different rings! She was equally welcoming during our 2nd visit, when we both decided to combine elements of different rings in the store to custom-design our own bands based on designs we’d seen online. They can custom-make just about anything there. Nina made recommendations, listened to us really well, and remained thorough and patient throughout the ordering process. (Jay was incredibly warm & welcoming, too.) Yesterday we picked up the rings and they’re totally gorgeous. I may need to make mine a tiny bit bigger, and she suggested I wear it at home for a few days to see how it fit before making the change. She asked the artisans who do the work a lot of questions on our behalf while we were in the store, because I may also size my vintage engagement ring so that it’s a little smaller, and they were very communicative & clear about what that would entail. She suggested taking my time to decide rather than pressuring me, which was great, and that was consistent throughout our experience there. Highly recommended!
